Instead, his performance was very good to see. The Old Lady now has a very special opponent waiting with a score to settle. Because Monza had beaten Juventus in both Serie A games without conceding a goal in the previous season. Especially after the 0-1 defeat in September 2022, Allegri was up to his neck after what was possibly the worst Juventus performance in the last ten years. It's just a good thing that his high-paying contract may have saved him from being laid off. AC Monza have never conceded more than a maximum of one goal per game in their last ten Serie A games. |
